EMap Failing to Save to Directory
Windows requires user to log into the workstations Admin user account FIRST. Please log into the admin account on the PC. Then Proceed.
Once done, Log out of the Admin Account and log into the Operator Account and do the same thing with the StreamView Settings.
Then we can go to StreamView Settings Tab using the menu button on the bottom left corner. Then click on Config Repository field then press Enter. You will get a prompt to enter credentials. Enter the Server credentials, select all users to copy settings too.
Once that is done, then you can login back into Operator Account to be able to upload EMaps to StreamViews.
If you are still having issues, windows security settings on the PC's folders, need to be updated. Please follow the steps:
Close StreamView
- Go to C:\ProgramsData
- Once there right click on the Unity Folder and go to Security and click on Edit
- You should see an account named Users, select the user and make sure all of the permissions are selected
- Also you will need click Add, once you get a popup and type in Everyone then click Check Name and press Save.
- Select the user Everyone and make sure all of the permissions are check marked and press Save.
Once you are finished Right click Streamview and select Run as Administrator
